Hi! To find answers you must ask the right questions. Be more specific and frame your questions in a way that makes more sense. Maybe it would help to write down what really troubles you first, because you will never find a solution till you figure out what the problem is.

How do you come up with all the ideas you are assigned with? In other words: When you are assigned topics, how do you come up with ideas?
Dear Brainwaves,
Good question! We already have different sections, as you see in our newspaper, and every time we do a new issue, we split it up among the reporters. Two reporters work on each section. Each reporter can also contribute to other sections, but only after they are done with the section they were assigned to first.
When we have our zoom meetings, it’s usually to discuss deadlines, or focus on starting new issues, and thinking of what to write about. Having these sections makes it easier to do so, and people kind of just share what they think is a good idea to write about for that topic, and we’ll put it on a list if the reporter(s) writing for that section is okay with it. Other times the reporter will find something to write about on their own after the approval of our mentor.

Why does life have to be like this you know?
Dear Pondering Life,
I think we get what you mean if you’re talking about covid-19, and quarantine. Staying at home and not being able to see friends and family too often or at all, is not the best feeling. But you should remember that life will carry on, and hopefully get better. Sure it can feel tough and discouraging many, many times, but you also get the good parts where you can feel joy and excitement, so focus on that if you ever question why life is like this.
If your question is about life in general, it is something that mankind has been wondering about for ages. There are many answers but only one truth, and it has to do with your purpose. Just believe that there IS a purpose to all this and one day you will know why it is like this.

Why do we exist?
Dear Wondering Why,
It is refreshing to see a an elementary school kid trying to tackle one of the most important questions of life. It shows a spark of great intellect, and you must continue to muse over this. While we can't just give you the answer we can assure you that if you continue to observe the universe around you, one day it will give you the answer.
